About Praia Dona Ana
Praia Dona Ana is located between Lagos centre and Ponta da Piedade. It is a cove of fine sand surrounded by golden cliffs, with isolated rocks in the water.
On calm sea days the water takes on green and blue tones. The beach is sheltered and usually has gentle waves in the European summer.
Access is via a staircase from the viewpoint on top of the cliff, where there is parking and restaurants.
A few minutes on foot is Praia do Camilo, smaller, with a long wooden staircase, and the cliff path continues to Ponta da Piedade. At low tide, small caves and passages between the rocks at the point appear.

How to get there
It's about 1.5 km from Lagos centre, on foot along the avenue and the cliff path, or by car, with limited parking.
Tip
Combine it with Praia do Camilo and Ponta da Piedade. Do not stay under the cliffs due to rockfall risk.
