About Punta Bonfiglio
Punta Bonfiglio is the promontory north of Manarola's marina. A path opened in 1968 skirts the point and links the marina to the small anchorage of Palaedo; from above you can see the cluster of the village houses stacked on the rock head-on.
At the top is Manarola's small cemetery. The final verses of the poem Liguria by Vincenzo Cardarelli are written on its facade. Beside it there is an area with benches and a small playground used by residents.
The view is the village's best-known: the Genoese tower-houses in different colors, the ramp where boats are kept and the sea below. Further on, via Belvedere ends in a small square dedicated to the poet Eugenio Montale, also with sea views.
The path is short and easy, without needing the park card. On windy days or when the sea is rough, respect the signs near the rocks.
