The city
What to expect from Magé.
Magé retains the Estação Guia de Pacobaíba, linked to Mauá’s railway history, and the Igreja Senhor do Bonfim, located atop the municipal seat. On Mauá’s waterfront, the mangroves and the Parque Natural Municipal Barão de Mauá show another side of the municipality, focused on environmental restoration. This combination broadens the visit to the fluminense arrival point of the Caminho Novo.
