About Viña MontGras

MontGras was founded in 1993 by brothers Hernán and Eduardo Gras and is based in Palmilla, about ten kilometers north of Santa Cruz. The winery lies at the foot of Cerro Ninquén, the hill that gives its name to one of the estate's wine lines, and near the old Colchagua railway station, today a national monument.

Besides the tour with tasting, MontGras is known for the make-your-own-wine experience: visitors taste wines from different grapes, compose the blend and take the bottle with a custom label. During the harvest there are activities linked to the vintage, and the rest of the year it is possible to have a picnic among the vines.
