What to expect from Tibagi.
Tibagi occupies the bank of the river that gives the city its name and preserves references to mining and the tropeiros' routes. The Parque Estadual do Guartelá protects part of the canyon of the Rio Iapó, among fields and sandstone cliffs. The PR-340 connects the municipality to the branch coming from Castro and toward Telêmaco Borba.
