About Parque Estadual do Guartelá
Guartelá preserves fields and sandstone formations in Tibagi. Authorized routes include viewpoints for interpreting the landscape of the canyon of the Rio Iapó.
The basic trail and routes with rock paintings are organized differently. Check with management to choose the route and, when required, book a guide; stay on paths permitted by the unit.
The canyon, fields and rocks belong to a protected area with its own circulation rules. The section observed depends on the trail chosen. Do not try to complete the route via unauthorized paths; plan the outing according to the group's hiking ability.
