How to get there
SP-046 connects the town center to SP-123 at Eugênio Lefèvre. SP-050 provides access via the Monteiro Lobato corridor; Pico Agudo uses its own municipal road.
How many days
One or two days are enough for Pico Agudo, the Eugênio Lefèvre complex, and a walk through the town center.
When to go
June to August usually brings cooler temperatures and less rain. May and September are alternatives for outings in the mountains. Between December and March it rains more often, and clouds can obscure the viewpoints.
The seasons shown are the most usual ones; nature doesn't always follow the calendar.
Do you need a car?
A car or hired transport makes it easier to reach Pico Agudo and the station, which are outside the walking area of the town center.

See the railway complex from the outside and proceed to the nearby viewpoint, adjusting the visit according to visibility in the mountains.

Is Pico Agudo located next to the town center?
The summit is reached via a separate municipal road. Check the condition of that access before driving up.
Do I need to take a train to visit Eugênio Lefèvre?
Visiting the area around the station and the viewpoint is an activity in itself. Railway rides are organized separately and must be confirmed.
Does the town serve as a base for Campos do Jordão?
SP-046 and SP-123 connect the two municipalities. Compare the location of your accommodation with the outings you want and include travel time in your plans.
What is the access route to São Bento do Sapucaí?
The connection via the SP-050/SP-042 corridor may cross a stretch in Minas before returning to São Paulo. Plan that branch separately.
