The city
Timbé do Sul lies at the foot of the Serra da Rocinha, between rivers and cliffs of the Serra Geral. The Cascata do Padre is located in the Rio Fortuna locality. The fall is surrounded by sandstone cliffs of the Formação Botucatu, with vegetation on the walls and a walk along the river.
The Rio do Salto brings together waterfalls and rock outcrops in the interior of Timbé do Sul. The outing allows observation of the riverbed and the valley vegetation, with access and movement that require local guidance.
