The city
Timbé do Sul lies at the foot of the Serra da Rocinha, between rivers and cliffs of the Serra Geral. The local experience
The Toca do Tatu is a paleotoca in sandstone of the Formação Botucatu. Its tunnels have marks associated with megafauna and traces of human occupation; access is part of the Portal do Palmiro tour.
The Cascata do Padre is located in the Rio Fortuna locality. The fall is surrounded by sandstone cliffs of the Formação Botucatu, with vegetation on the walls and a walk along the river.
The Rio do Salto brings together waterfalls and rock outcrops in the interior of Timbé do Sul. The outing allows observation of the riverbed and the valley vegetation, with access and movement that require local guidance.
