Caucaia – CE Destination Jericoacoara and the West Coast of Ceará

How to get there

The CE-090 corridor connects Caucaia's coastal strip to Fortaleza's urban accesses. The CE-085 continues toward the western coast; the municipal seat and each beach have distinct entrances.

How many days

Two days allow alternating the Cumbuco nucleus with the coastline of Icaraí, Pacheco and Iparana. Add extra time if you choose sports lessons or dune tours.

When to go

The rainy season typically occurs from February to May. Between July and December it generally rains less; the wind season usually runs from August to January and tends to be stronger from September to November.

The seasons shown are the most usual ones; nature doesn't always follow the calendar.

Do you need a car?

Cumbuco and Icaraí have local circulation, but visiting all four coastal nuclei requires travel. A vehicle or arranged transport helps connect the beaches and the municipal seat.
