How many days

One day, for Poço Encantado and Gruta da Lapa do Bode. Cachoeira Encantada is a separate expedition, on a long, difficult trail.

When to go

From April to September, around midday and with clear skies, sunlight shines into Poço Encantado and lights up the water. Outside this period you can still visit, without the beam of light. When the Una River floods, between December and January, access to Lapa do Bode is blocked.

Do you need a car?

Yes. The attractions are far from town and from each other, with no public transportation. If you don't drive, go on an agency tour, which usually leaves from Lençóis or Andaraí.
