How to get there
The AL-225 connects Piranhas to the AL-220 axis. From Canindé, the route crosses the Xingó bridge. The historic centre and the village of Entremontes have different access points.
How many days
Two to three days allow time to cover the casario, the Museu do Sertão and Entremontes. Add an extra stage for the boat trip and hike to Angico.
When to go
June and July tend to be less hot for touring the casario. From October to March, favor walks during periods of lower sun exposure; arrange boat departures in advance.
The seasons shown are the most usual ones; nature doesn't always follow the calendar.
Do you need a car?
In the historic centre, combine visits on foot. For Entremontes and Angico, book river transport or arrange transport in advance, rather than relying on a car for every stage.
