Carambeí – PR Destination Campos Gerais

How to get there

The PR-151 connects Carambeí to Ponta Grossa and Castro. Exit the highway via the urban access and locate the entrance to the Parque Histórico before your visit.

How many days

Set aside a day for the Parque Histórico and the walk through town; extend your stay if you plan to include authorized rural visits.

When to go

March, April and September tend to have milder temperatures in Carambeí. From June to August the plateau tends to be cold; December to February brings more heat and rain, affecting the museum's outdoor routes.

The seasons shown are the most usual ones; nature doesn't always follow the calendar.

Do you need a car?

Car or combined transport makes access via the PR-151 easier. The Parque Histórico's route includes outdoor areas and requires planning for the walk.
