Rio Negro – PR Destination Rotas do Pinhão
How to get there
The BR-116 reaches Rio Negro at the border with Santa Catarina. Locate the town center and the accesses to the former seminary complex separately from the through highway.
How many days
One day covers the former seminary complex and an outdoor stroll through the riverside center.
When to go
In Rio Negro, June to August is usually cold, and outdoor visits require warm clothing. March, April and September are alternatives for walking around the center with milder temperatures; December to February tends to be hotter and rainier.
The seasons shown are the most usual ones; nature doesn't always follow the calendar.
Do you need a car?
A car makes it easier to combine the center, the municipal park and the onward route along BR-116. The walk through the houses can be done on foot after arrival.
