What to expect from Lapa.
Lapa preserves a set of streets and large houses linked to the resting places of the tropeiros and the memory of the Siege of Lapa. The Matriz de Santo Antônio, the Theatro São João and Casa Lacerda provide reference points for walking through the historic core. The BR-476 and the PR-427 connect the town to metropolitan branches and the route to Porto Amazonas.
