Campo Largo – PR Destination Rotas do Pinhão

How to get there

BR-277/BR-376 reaches Campo Largo via the Curitiba–Purunã corridor. PR-423 connects the Araucária branch; to reach Colombo you must follow the links around the capital.

How many days

One day allows combining Parque Cambuí–Newton Puppi with an outdoor walk in the centre.

When to go

In Campo Largo, April and September are good options to combine park and urban stroll. June to August is usually cold; December to February tends to be warmer with more frequent rain.

The seasons shown are the most usual ones; nature doesn't always follow the calendar.

Do you need a car?

A car makes road connections along the branch easier. In the centre, set aside a dedicated walk rather than trying to visit the main church during passing-through traffic.

Frequently asked questions

Does the visit include purchases of tableware?

The itinerary describes the park and the urban heritage. Purchases and visits to establishments are arranged separately.

Can I visit the main church without depending on a service?

The façade can be viewed from the public spaces in the centre. Entry into the temple must respect the parish's arrangements.

How to get there from Araucária?

The branch uses PR-423 and the connections with BR-277 up to the accesses to Campo Largo.

Is Museu do Mate automatically part of the park visit?

Parque Cambuí and the ensemble of the former mate mill are distinct places. A museum visit depends on separate confirmation of reception.
