Use the BR-277/BR-376 connections and the municipal access to the town center. São Luiz do Purunã and Parque Manancial are located in different sectors of the municipality.

When to go
March, April and September usually have milder temperatures in Balsa Nova. June to August tends to be cold on top of the escarpment; between December and February rain more often affects the external trails.

Do you need a car?
A car helps to separate the town center, the park and the mountain district. Rural routes in Purunã need combined access beyond the road corridor.

Is Ponte dos Papagaios located exclusively in Balsa Nova?
The bridge is on the border with Palmeira. Identify access to the heritage site via the BR-277 corridor, separate from a visit to Parque Manancial.
How to get to Campo Largo?
Return to the BR-277/BR-376 links and use Campo Largo's urban accesses; the route through the escarpment's rural areas is a separate activity.
