- Cascata Conde d'Eu Formed by the Rio Paquequer, it is considered the tallest free-falling waterfall in the state, with an estimated height of 127 to 160 meters. Access is by a dirt road and an easy trail of less than 2 kilometers.
- Pedra Duas Irmãs A formation of two large rocks about 30 meters tall that create a kind of gateway at the entrance to town. It is considered the local postcard sight and has easy trails nearby.
- Ruínas da Ponte Seca Nine large stone pillars still stand from the railroad viaduct opened in 1888 on the Leopoldina branch line that linked the region to Nova Friburgo. The lone columns on top of a small hill are one of the most photographed scenes in the municipality.
