Fortaleza's urban corridor connects to the CE-040. For Eusébio's town center and Lagoa da Precabura, determine the arrival point and local access before leaving the highway.
When to go
From February to May the main rains on the Ceará coast usually occur. Between August and December it generally rains less; the lagoon's landscape reflects those variations.

The municipality is inland. Lagoa da Precabura is an environmental reference for this stage, distinct from the ocean beaches in the continuation of the route.
How to get to Lagoa da Precabura?
Arrival requires local access beyond the CE-040. Choose the authorized observation point in advance and respect the shoreline vegetation.
Can I combine the town center with the next stage?
The town center can be visited before continuing along the road corridor to Aquiraz. Access to Aquiraz's historic center and to the coastline uses separate branch roads.
