Cachoeira do Evilson has the largest volume of water among the waterfalls of Taquaruçu, the hilly district of Palmas. The falls drop in front of a crescent-shaped rock wall covered in ferns and moss.

The waterfall is on private property, named after its owner, in a rural area of Taquaruçu. The final stretch is a dirt road. On the same property is Cachoeira do Bugio, a smaller waterfall a few minutes' walk away.

The water forms a wide pool, shallow at the edge and gradually deeper, which suits families with children. The property has visitor facilities, including a restaurant.

The trail to the main falls is short and easy, a descent of about 300 meters. It is a good outing if you want a waterfall without a long hike.
