Taperoá – PB Destination Cariri Paraibano

How to get there

Access to Taperoá can follow BR-230 and PB-228 and PB-238 via the Assunção area. The Centro Histórico and the Museu Casa Ariano Suassuna are located in the town center; plan to arrive at the museum before the tour.

How many days

One or two days for the historic houses and the house-museum, allowing time for Ariano Suassuna's references.

When to go

From June to September it usually rains less in Taperoá. February to May gathers most of the Cariri's rains, which can change the condition of rural access roads.

The seasons shown are the most usual ones; nature doesn't always follow the calendar.

Do you need a car?

In the town center, combine walking routes. To continue between municipalities or visit rural sites, prearranged transport makes travel easier.
