Prata – PB Destination Cariri Paraibano
How to get there
Prata is accessed via BR-110/PB-250, connected to the BR-412 axis. For the Complexo Serra da Matarina, arrange the circuit entry and transportation to the rural area.
How many days
A dedicated stage for Serra da Matarina, with an overnight stay if the circuit and rural transfers take up much of the day.
When to go
From June to September, Prata usually has less rain. From February to May, rainfall tends to change the vegetation and the trails' humidity. The hike should be chosen according to the visitors' preparedness.
The seasons shown are the most usual ones; nature doesn't always follow the calendar.
Do you need a car?
Transport to the agreed Matarina meeting point helps organize the hike. Do not assume that arriving at the town center is already the trail entrance.
