About Parque Estadual de Vila Velha

The shapes of the sandstone formations are the most well-known feature of Vila Velha. The Taça is part of a group of rocks shaped by erosion, traversed by paths intended for visitors.

The furnas and the Lagoa Dourada are located in other sectors of the park. Choosing more than one circuit changes the duration of the outing and the internal logistics. Check with reception which routes are available and keep your walk on the authorized trails.

The park's landscape combines fields and rock formations. Walking along the structures prepared for the public allows you to observe details without stepping into conservation areas. The color and appearance of the rocks change with the light; they do not depend on a specific time of day to shape the visit.
