How many days

Jardim's tours fit into one or two days, and most people stay in Bonito. Staying in Jardim makes sense if you are driving and want to be closer to the Rio da Prata and the Buraco das Araras.

When to go

From May to September, in the dry season, the water is clearest. The Lagoa Misteriosa float only runs during part of the year, in the dry season; outside it, the attraction closes. The macaws can be seen year-round. The town's anniversary is on May 14.

Do you need a car?

Yes, or agency transportation: the Rio da Prata, the Lagoa Misteriosa and the Buraco das Araras are outside town. The Cemitério dos Heróis and the Ponte Velha are near town, by the Miranda River.
