About Parque Estadual da Serra de Jaraguá
The Parque Estadual da Serra de Jaraguá protects the Cerrado landscape and accommodates activities such as hiking, cycling and nature observation. Urban access begins behind the Igreja Nossa Senhora do Rosário and continues along a dirt road up the serra. The terrain opens views over the city and the surrounding agricultural region.
Lookouts, the paragliding launch ramp and trails belong to the park and are part of a single visit to the conservation unit. Choose the activity according to physical preparation, weather conditions and the administration’s guidance. For groups and specific activities, consult in advance about services and access rules.
Bring water, sun protection and equipment appropriate for the chosen route. Visibility can change during the day, and the ascent route requires planning even when the departure is near the center. Preserve the vegetation and stay on authorized paths; enjoying the landscape should not interfere with other visitors’ sporting activities.
