About Museu Casa de Cora Coralina
The Museu Casa de Cora Coralina occupies the Casa Velha da Ponte, beside the Rio Vermelho, in Cidade de Goiás. The space preserves the memory of Ana Lins dos Guimarães Peixoto Bretas, known by her literary name Cora Coralina. It was inaugurated in 1989, the centenary of the writer's birth, to present her life and work.
The visit is guided. The tour helps relate the house's rooms to the writings, objects and Cora's trajectory. Confirm services before arriving and inform them when the visit involves a group. Conditions for photography and movement inside must follow the team's instructions.
The house is also the arrival reference of the Caminho de Cora Coralina. Those who finish the crossing should separate the moment of completion and rest from entering the museum, since the visit depends on cultural services. Observing the relationship of the building with the river and the bridge completes the reading of the place without replacing the guided experience of the collection.
