About Mirante Edileusa Lóz
The Mirante Edileusa Lóz is an observation tower in the Parque do Rio Branco, in downtown Boa Vista, on the banks of the Rio Branco. At 120 meters tall, it is the highest viewpoint in the city. It is named after a former Boa Vista city employee.
The tower opened in December 2020. The observation deck is about 93 meters above the ground and has sections of glass floor, for those brave enough to look down. You go up by elevator, and one of them is panoramic, with a view of the river on the way up.
From the top the view is 360 degrees: the Rio Branco, the Orla Taumanan, the Parque do Rio Branco just below, the historic center and the whole city, flat and green, all the way to the horizon.
Admission is free, but visiting the observation deck requires advance online booking, in small groups with limited time at the top. The outing is easy and suits all ages; children must be accompanied.
