About Praia de Uruaú

Uruaú is a coastal nucleus of Beberibe that brings together an ocean beach and a community along the shore. The stretch of sand and the dunes are part of a landscape different from that found on the paths of Morro Branco. The lagoon of the same name is another reference in the region, but it has its own access and organization; do not confuse a visit to the lagoon with arrival at the beach. To visit Uruaú, plan road access from the CE-040 corridor and define where the tour will start. Walks can include public community spaces and authorized stretches of the waterfront, according to the tide and sea conditions. Wind sports require instruction, equipment and professional assessment of conditions. Preserve the dune vegetation and do not use improvised paths. Before choosing a water activity, check local guidance and allow time for return transport to your base.
