About Praia de Santo André

Praia de Santo André runs along the settlement located north of the João de Tiba River, in the municipality of Santa Cruz Cabrália. The proximity between river, sand strip and coastal vegetation gives the outing a different landscape from the urban waterfront of the town center. The settlement and its sand strip allow alternating a walk through local streets with coastal observation.

If you depart from Cabrália’s center along the coast, you may use the ferry crossing and continue via local access. Confirm arrival and return arrangements before leaving, especially if you rely on hired transport. A walk on the sand should take tide, wind and waves into account; the scenery where river meets sea does not imply uniform bathing conditions. Use public paths and do not cross lodging properties to reach the coast without permission.
