About Praia dos Campas
Praia dos Campas (beach) is in Tamandaré, on the south coast of Pernambuco, between the town's central beach and Praia dos Carneiros. It is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the municipality and is part of the Costa dos Corais protected area.
The sea is calm, protected by the coral reefs. At low tide, they form shallow natural pools, good for swimming and for seeing fish. The strip of white sand is wide, and the waterfront is full of coconut palms.
At the edge of the beach stands the old Igreja de São Pedro (church), with its staircase leading down to the sand. At high tide, the water reaches the steps. The church is very popular for photos and weddings.
It is a quiet beach, good for families with children and for those who want to rest. You can walk along the sand to other stretches of the Tamandaré coast.

How to get there
